Obama postpones E-Verify rule again

A federal rule requiring many employers to use E-Verify has been pushed back yet again.
In June 2008, President Bush issued an executive order requiring all federal contractors to verify new hires and existing employees assigned to government contracts through E-Verify. The rule was scheduled to take effect in January — until a coalition led by the Chamber of Commerce sued.
The feds pushed the effective date back to Feb. 20. Then the Obama administration extended the delay to May 21 — and has just pushed the date back yet again to give the new administration time to review the rule. It’s now set to take effect June 30.
In the meantime, the Chamber of Commerce’s suit is still pending. We’ll keep you posted on how that turns out.
If it’s ever enacted, the rule will apply to companies with contracts lasting more than 120 days, valued at more than $120,000 and involving work done in the United States.
Those companies not already using E-Verify will have to:
- enroll in the program within 30 days of being awarded the contract
- start verifying all new hires within 90 days of enrollment
- verify existing employees who are assigned to work on the contract, and
- continue using E-Verify for the duration of the contract.

Our nations laws are cautiously being weakened by our certain pro-open borders politicians. Senator Sessions has been fighting for the American people, the AMERICAN WORKER for years as a true patriot. Now the majority in office his adversaries that include Senator Harry Reid (D-NV), speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) Homeland Security Chief Napolitano and a cesspool of legislators have triumphed in reducing the influence of E-Verify, Real ID Act and police enforcement and detainment law (287(g) to arrest illegal aliens and criminals.
When you rationalize that the US Chamber of Commerce and the ACLU are always on the front immigration combat lines. With any new laws against illegal immigration that threaten their beneficiaries, they will file lawsuit nationwide, including Oklahoma at this time. These ominous entities are well compensated by quiet grants from certain nefarious politicians in our own government and corporate welfare. This exhibits to me that they have an agenda of the free-movement of cheap labor from South of the border.
We have very few politicians who have the backbone to fight for legal Americans, Such as Senator Sessions, Sheriff Joe Ariapo, and in addition Rep.Shuler, the author of E-Verify and the revised Save Act. If we want to fight for what’s left of our rights under the Constitution, join NUMBERSUSA JUDICIALWATCH to stop 2nd AMNESTY? NO MORE TAXES TO PAY ILLEGAL ALIENS & FAMILIES! IMMIGRATION LAWS ARE NOT BROKEN, JUST NOT ENFORCED! STOP FEDERAL FUNDS TO SANCTUARY CITIES & STATES! So enforce the 1986 Simpson/Mazzoli bill, the Immigration Reform & Control Act as enacted. Offer your support to Rep.Shuler (D-NC) on his gov website. Phone: 828-252-1651 and Senator Sessions (R-AL) (256) 533-0979
IF AMERICANS DON’T OBJECT TO THIS WEAKENING OF IMMIGRATION LAWS—WE ARE NOT GOING TO RECOGNIZE THE AMERICA WE KNOW ANYMORE?
