A new Google feature makes it easier for companies to share internal videos within their organizations.
Known as Google Video for Businesses, the feature is available to users of Google Apps Premier Edition.
The gist: A company gets to upload videos that can be shared with the entire company or certain teams and departments within the organization. Employees can access the videos on a Web site that acts basically as the company’s own YouTube site.
Many companies already share internal videos on other sites, but the advantage of the Google page is that it can’t be accessed by outsiders.
The most common use will likely be training videos, as well as corporate announcements and communication between employees working in remote locations.
For more information, check out the videos from Google here.
