Free app can help with meeting messes

Do you like setting up meetings? You know, figuring out managers’ availability for scheduling harassment training or personnel discussion. You probably answered no – but there’s a free application that might be able to help.

It’s called TimeBridge, and it’s a free, web-based (no download necessary) program. Here’s how it works:

Much like Outlook or Google Calendar, you use TimeBridge to send an e-mail invite for the meeting. But instead of picking one time, you give multiple options and have the recipients tell you what works and what doesn’t. The app gathers the responses and lets you pick the time accordingly.

Also, you can keep your own schedule with TimeBridge’s calendar and let other users see your availability (they can only see what times you are available – not what specifically you have scheduled when you aren’t). So if other people in your company are using the application, you check out their availability before you send the first invite.

Finally, the app can integrate with Outlook to automatically update your calendar as you schedule or cancel meetings.

With a lot of events, it’s probably not too hard to talk to a few people to find the best time. But if you ever feel like this guy juggling clocks, TimeBridge is probably worth a try.
