Lynn...please try LINKUP.com and I am sure you will have better results. The jobs on LINKUP are only from Company websites and if they have been taken down on the home site, they are not on LINKUP.

Hound promotes itself as a job board that obtains information directly from employer websites and updates the listings almost daily. I spent about 10 minutes cross-referencing many of the jobs displayed on Hound to the employer websites. Most of the jobs listed on Hound were no longer on the employer websites -ie. they were incredibly outdated! All of this for a service that charges subscribers. Seems like a scam to me.

I found that the Ladders also has many outdated jobs.

I find myself going to Indeed.com and my State's Department of Employment website, which is a surprising source of good information and professional job listings.

What happened to Monster.com? I thought they were #1?

Don't go to iHire.com either! They advertise access to thousands of jobs for free, but you only get the list for free. You have to pay to find the company name and contact info.

Where to start.
I appreciate the time it took to put together such a list. Kudos for that. But let me make a few comments -- maybe to help some folks further.
One really has to be careful with CL these days, enough said.
Hound charges the job seeker, big time, as does theladders. Hound is also a noted spammer operation. TheLadders is under constant pressure now that it was discovered they also get jobs from Simply Hired, Indeed, Monster et al. So, not all jobs are over 100k but you still do pay.
Nick Corcodilos of AskTheHeadhunter has some further insights on job boards.
Thanks.
